When I create art, be it a sculpture,
painting, photograph, digital paint,
graphic design, illustration, a mixed
media piece, jewelry, or the design of
a space, it is provoked by the subject
I observe or a vision inspired by my
imagination. My artwork represents
these observations and visions.
Each of the pieces is authentically
unique and, at the same time,
together, they are connected and
have the mission of provoking
reflection through the representation
of beauty in our earthly and sublime
What follows are some of my
time in digital painting.
Digital Paintings are created from Marco’s photos, paintings, mixed media pieces, sculptures, illustrations, graphic design or are fully digitally painted, and printed using the giclée printing technique.
What is a giclée ?
The word giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) originates from a French term meaning “to spray.” This alludes to the technology used for giclée printing, in which special inks are “sprayed” on a substrate.
A giclée print is generally the closest reproduction that can be made of an original two-dimensional artwork. Furthermore, giclées can be reproduced on a variety of art papers with different textures and tonalities, as well as different types of canvas.
A “giclée” print may be defined as a high fidelity, archival quality digital reproduction of a two-dimensional artwork, generally consisting of a limited quantity of copies.
All digital paintings prints are limited edition 1/10 and signed by Marcos.
Some of the paintings shown below in the gallery are available. Contact Marcos for availability.
